Grosvenor Kensington Hotel, London

Having book a Queen Double room at the Grosvenor Kensington Hotelwe - my husband and me were shocked with what we saw - two single beds instead of one big double as we expected. The receptionists said that they had had only Twin rooms left. We had to resign ourselves and to enjoy the two nice windows we had in the room. Seemingly it was not the right day and not the right hotel for enjoying. One of the windows was tightly glued and refused to open. Another one could only let in the room the noise from the children school right under our window. Those who say that the sound of playing children is touching and lovely probably means the small children because I was furious about what I heard

I travel to London quite often and I am used to small rooms, hurriedly swallowed breakfasts and uncertain possibility to have rest after hard day out. With the same thought I booked a room at Quality Crown Hotel Paddington. The first surprise - my room was big, spacious, huge - all the epithets to describe the generous proportions of my room. Near the door there were two couches for rest and sleep as well and the bedroom had a big comfortable bed of queen-size. The chaise-lounge, console-mirror, 2 armchairs tea and coffee making facilities and all the other amenities to create comfortable and enjoyable stay!
